Rutherford Agricultural Division
Rutherford opened in Earlston in 1911 as Millwrights and Agricultural Engineers. Today it operates from three sites throughout the SE Scotland and North Northumberland: Rhymers Mill (Head Office branch) in Earlston; Swinton Mill near Coldstream, and East Linton in East Lothian.
Ifor Williams Trailer Centre
Rutherford Trailer Centres are main distributors for Ifor Williams Trailers. This business has grown year upon year since we sold our first Ifor Williams trailer in March 1987.
Rhymers Tower Service Station
Rutherford opened their forecourt at Rhymers Tower Service Station in 1962 and has been an Esso dealer since then. It is one of the largest self-service sites in the Borders with a forecourt shop selling almost everything including an off licence. Other services include two jet car washes, a car vacuum and LPG Auto Gas. The site is situated on the A68 adjacent to the ancient Tower of Thomas the Rhymer.
